COURSE OVERVIEW
Becoming a manager is often an exciting and stressful time in your career: exciting for the whole new prospects it opens up; stressful because suddenly you’re responsible not just for your own work, but for that of others as well. And if you’re responsible for other people’s work, you need to be prepared to give feedback – both positive and negative.
One of the most important person-to-person communication skills is the ability to give and receive feedback effectively. No amount of sophisticated technology can diminish the anxiety supervisors, team leaders, and team members can feel when faced with a feedback session. It is challenging but the good news is that feedback doesn’t have to be painful.
Welcome to the Giving and Receiving Feedback Training. In this course you will learn how to give effective feedback, ask for feedback, and use the responses you receive as a tool to improve personal performance.
